Mini Strawberry: How a Playful Script Font Boosted Our Campaign’s Personality

The Launch Countdown Was On

We were three days out from launching a new line of organic kids’ snacks and the visuals still felt...flat. The brand voice was warm, cheerful, and full of energy, but the design wasn’t reflecting that. I opened the latest thumbnail preview on my phone and frowned—everything looked too clean, too corporate. We needed a font that could carry the brand’s tone without sacrificing readability or digital clarity.

Enter Mini Strawberry

A quick search through our design kit led me to Mini Strawberry—a handwritten script font that felt like it had just been picked from a sun-drenched garden. It’s not overly formal like some script fonts, nor is it cartoonish. It has a natural bounce, a bit of texture, and enough personality to stand out in fast-scrolling feeds. We dropped it into our social teaser graphics and the difference was immediate.

What Makes Mini Strawberry Stand Out

Mini Strawberry is part of the Script Amp category, designed for expressive digital use. It's a playful, slightly uneven handwritten font that mimics real pen strokes. It brings a sense of authenticity and warmth to any message. The letters have a slight tilt, soft curves, and subtle variations that make it feel human, not machine-generated. It’s perfect for conveying approachability, creativity, and friendliness—ideal for lifestyle brands, food startups, and boutique services.

Testing the Font Across Campaign Assets

We used Mini Strawberry across multiple campaign assets: Instagram stories, YouTube thumbnails, Pinterest pins, and email banners. For each platform, we adjusted the size and contrast carefully to maintain readability. On Instagram, we used it for quote-style captions overlaid on soft pastel backgrounds. On Pinterest, it worked beautifully in pin titles that needed to stand out in a sea of visual content. Even in thumbnail-sized previews, the font retained its charm without losing legibility.

Where Mini Strawberry Works Best

Readability Tips for Digital Use

Mini Strawberry shines in digital environments when used thoughtfully. Here’s what we learned from testing:

  1. Keep it short: Best for headlines and short phrases rather than long paragraphs
  2. Use high contrast: Pair with light or dark solid backgrounds to make the letters pop
  3. Avoid small sizes: Stick to 24px or larger for mobile visibility
  4. Limit text layers: Don’t crowd the design—let the font be the visual highlight
  5. Test on mobile: Always preview on a phone screen to ensure clarity in thumbnails and stories

Font Pairing Made Our Design Cohesive

To balance Mini Strawberry’s playful nature, we paired it with a clean sans serif—Montserrat for headers and Open Sans for body text. This contrast helped maintain visual hierarchy while keeping the overall look modern and professional. For more editorial-style layouts, we tried it with a serif like Playfair Display, which gave the design a vintage-inspired twist. The key was to let Mini Strawberry take center stage in titles and calls to action while supporting it with more structured fonts for secondary text.

Using Mini Strawberry in Real Campaigns

Here’s how we applied it across our launch campaign:

Designing for Recognition and Consistency

Brand recognition starts with visual consistency. Using Mini Strawberry across all digital touchpoints helped reinforce the brand’s personality. Whether it was in a product teaser or a social post, the font became a subtle but memorable part of the brand identity. It gave our visuals a signature feel—like a personal note from the brand to the audience.

What to Check Before Using Mini Strawberry

Before finalizing the font for broader use, we double-checked the file details:

Final Touch: A Font That Feels Like a Signature

In the end, Mini Strawberry didn’t just make our visuals prettier—it made them more expressive. It helped us say what words alone couldn’t: that this brand was made with care, a little whimsy, and a lot of heart. As marketers, we’re always looking for tools that help our message land better. Sometimes, it’s not a flashy animation or a new filter—it’s the right font that brings the tone to life.
